Overview

The Scripps Genome Center was established in the Marine Biology Research Division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography in 2004. Our goal is to help integrate the rapidly expanding world of marine genomics into the mainstream of marine biology research.

Our group uses software tools to explore, analyze and visualize the output of high throughput molecular biology experiments. Results obtained with these computational methods are then applied to answer specific biological questions in collaboration with experimental scientists.
